Strategically important customer wins for Ascom Network Testing

The Ascom Network Testing Division announces strategically important customer wins exceeding USD 7 million that reinforce its global market-leader position in benchmarking and optimization of mobile networks.

A major North American mobile network operator performing a phased deployment of LTE infrastructure has selected Ascom as one of its key suppliers for LTE drive test equipment. In the first half of this year, the operator has purchased a large volume of both new and upgraded licenses of TEMS Investigation for LTE. The same operator has also committed to a nationwide product support agreement to cover the hundreds of  TEMS Investigation licenses deployed across the country.

A major infrastructure provider has selected the products TEMS Investigation and TEMS Discovery to support the Managed Service of several mobile networks across Africa. A telecom regulator in the Middle East has selected the TEMS Investigation product to measure the quality of mobile networks in their country.

A leading mobile network operator in Central and Eastern Europe has become the first client to purchase the recently launched TEMS Symphony product offering, featuring the next-generation MTP-4 hardware platform. The long-term Ascom Network Testing customer wants to ensure sufficient capacity and state-of-the-art processing power when benchmarking the quality and performance of its network, as well as its competition's.
